From Anxious to Secure Attachment ✨ Many of us le From Anxious to Secure Attachment ✨

Many of us learned early in life how to cope in relationships.

Some of us pursue closeness and feel overwhelmed when connection feels uncertain.
Some of us pull away and avoid when things feel too intense.
And many of us move somewhere in between.

In this talk we will explore how attachment patterns form, how they show up in our relationships today, and how we can begin moving towards greater emotional security.

Understanding your attachment style can help you notice what happens in your nervous system when you feel activated, and begin making more conscious choices in how you relate.

This evening will explore how to understand yourself more deeply, process emotions, and cultivate a steadier sense of connection with yourself and with others.

Not perfection.
But feeling a little more steady in your own ship 🀍

Georgia and I with one of the actors from Bird Gro Georgia and I with one of the actors from Bird Grove after the show at Hampstead Theatre.

The play tells the story of the early life of Mary Ann Evans before she became the novelist George Eliot. It explores the tension between a brilliant young woman with a questioning mind and the expectations placed on her by family and society in the 1840s.

After nursing both of her parents through illness, she was left with very little when her father died, while most of the estate went to her brothers. Yet despite the limits placed on women at the time, she went on to become one of the greatest novelists in English literature.

What stayed with me most was the reminder that sometimes love, instinct and truth have an intelligence of their own β€” and that following what feels true inside us can shape the whole course of our lives.
From Anxious to Secure Attachment ✨ How do we mov From Anxious to Secure Attachment ✨

How do we move from anxiety in our relationships to something steadier, safer and more secure?

Many of us grow up developing ways of relating that help us cope.
Sometimes we pull away and avoid.
Sometimes we pursue and feel overwhelmed.
Sometimes we move between both.

In this talk, we will explore the spectrum of attachment, how these patterns show up in our lives, and how we can begin to understand ourselves with more compassion.

Together we will look at how we process feelings, become more embodied, and gently move towards greater security within ourselves.

Not perfection.
But steadiness in your own ship 🀍

Love Begins Within ✨ So much of the love we seek Love Begins Within ✨

So much of the love we seek outside of us begins within ✨

As a sex and relationship therapist, I support individuals in building a steadier, kinder connection with themselves, and couples in rediscovering closeness, safety and intimacy 🀍

When we feel secure inside, we can meet each other differently.

More openly.

More honestly.

More deeply.
