    A thought about love today… ✨ Sometimes it’s not A thought about love today… ✨

Sometimes it’s not that people are confusing.
It’s that their nervous systems are speaking louder than their words.

One person pulls away and you feel abandoned.
Another comes closer and you feel overwhelmed.
Someone reacts sharply, and suddenly you’re questioning yourself.

And it’s easy, in those moments, to think:
What is wrong with them?

But often, what you’re meeting is activation.
A nervous system trying to find safety 🫀
Patterns shaped long before you arrived.

That doesn’t mean everything is yours to hold.
But it does mean there is something deeper to understand.

Because when you begin to recognise what’s happening beneath the surface
in them, and in you
relationships start to feel less chaotic and more… human.

And from there, you have more choice.
More clarity.
More steadiness in how you respond 🌿

If you want support exploring this, you can book a session. I work with individuals and couples on exactly this.

What do you notice your nervous system doing in moments of tension or confusion in connection?

There is a moment in relationships where things be There is a moment in relationships where things begin to feel real.

Closer. More meaningful. More vulnerable.

And for many people, that is where the shift happens.

Overthinking creeps in
You question what you said
You feel the urge to move closer… or to pull away completely

Not because something is wrong
But because something meaningful is happening

On Sunday 19 April, I will be at The Sugar Club in Dublin exploring this exact moment and what sits underneath it

This live talk is about understanding anxious attachment
How it forms
How it shows up
And how you can begin to move towards feeling more secure in the way you love and connect

We will look at the nervous system
What activation feels like in your body
And how to create more steadiness, even in the moments that used to feel overwhelming

This is not about becoming someone else

It is about learning how to stay with yourself
Even when things feel uncertain

📍 The Sugar Club, Dublin
🗓 Sunday 19 April 2026
⏰ Doors open 5pm, talk starts 5.30pm

This feels much more embedded and intentional, like part of the story rather than an add-on.
    A reflection I return to often… ✨ So many people A reflection I return to often… ✨

So many people I work with aren’t trying to hurt each other.
They’re trying to be understood… and missing each other at the same time.

And somewhere in that space, it starts to feel exhausting.
You might find yourself thinking
Should I just give up?
Is this too hard?

But often, underneath the confusion, something much more tender is happening.
Two people wanting to be seen.
Two people feeling vulnerable.
Two nervous systems struggling to find safety at the same time 🫀

In couples therapy, we often say…
Sometimes it only takes a few more words.
A few more words to let someone into your world
or the willingness to really step into theirs.

Not fixing.
Not defending.

Just listening.
Creating space.
Taking a moment.
Choosing to stay.

Because sometimes, the shift doesn’t come from saying it perfectly
but from being willing to stay open while it’s imperfect 🌿

If this is something you’re navigating right now, I’ll be exploring this more deeply at my live event with Seed Talks on the 19th in Dublin at The Sugar Club.

Tickets are available through Eventbrite if you’d like to join.
