From Anxious to Secure Attachment: A 6-week online course

Do you find relationships challenging, feeling anxious or avoidant, or find it difficult to trust others? Attachment styles, formed in childhood, influence how we relate to others as adults. Anxious attachment is often rooted in fear of abandonment and rejection, while avoidant attachment may stem from neglect, leading to fierce independence. Disorganised attachment can arise from chaotic or unpredictable upbringings, causing confusion and emotional distance in relationships. In contrast, secure attachment develops when a child’s needs for affection, care and validation are consistently met. Understanding these attachment styles can help you recognise your patterns and work towards healthier relationships.

This six-week course will guide you through moving from anxious or avoidant toward secure and healthy attachment. By exploring your core wounds and triggers, learning emotional regulation, and developing greater self-awareness, you’ll gain the tools to respond to triggers calmly and compassionately. Healthy relationships are vital for calming the nervous system and living a more fulfilling life, and this course will help you start that journey.
