I’m excited to share that I am putting on some m I’m excited to share that I am putting on some more workshops this year after a little break from teaching…

I am holding an online Open your Heart workshop on Friday 3 February 7-8.30pm GMT. This will be a beautiful space to support you to go within, connect with your heart and listen to your dreams. The cost is £10 and you can find out all the info in my bio link.

I have been working with love and the heart for a long time. This journey has been enlightening and moving. I am continually learning about how to understand myself and others by slowing down and tuning in.

Over the years it has been a real joy to offer several Bridging courses with my husband Paul to help people slow down and listen to each other, flirting classes to help people find their inner spark, and Open your Heart workshops for people to connect with their inner wisdom and dreams.

Since lockdown I have enjoyed the privilege of being at home more and not travelling so much for work. I have also relished having weekends to myself to visit places and enjoy connecting to myself. Lockdown was strange in so many ways but it changed me in a positive way, helping me to slow down and become more present.

I am creating a slower life, with little trips away, yoga in the mornings and occasional sea swims and walks. I realise that the little things in my life (like making my husband a coffee or chatting to my niece) matter so much and I am so grateful for the changes that mean I am at home more.

But I also realise that I love teaching, so I am going to hold some online and in-person workshops this year for people to connect to their heart, and learn to listen or flirt.

It has not always been easy to follow my heart and do what I believe in and I have often had to face my fears to do this. But I know that this is my path and as I take things more gently, I realise that this journey of the heart is exactly right for me.

I will keep dreaming and spreading love, and hope to encourage and learn from others.

Love Cate ♡

✨ The little things in life ✨ I am realising ✨ The little things in life ✨

I am realising that relationships are made up of little moments. Of course the big times count too, like a trip or a significant celebration. But it is the little moments that build a sustainable connection and create secure attachment.

Many are familiar with Gary Chapman’s 5 Love Languages which are a brilliant way to discover your partner’s preferred way of expressing and experiencing love. It’s so important to understand what your partner wants and needs.

But ideally we would be offering a little of all the languages to our partner in small but growing ways.

Like any creative project, the way something grows is through regular nourishment and attention. A big gesture every three months will not necessarily mend the hurt of not attending to someone over that time.

Some people are naturally busy with work but if you would like a tip, you could put reminders in your diary or phone to help you to remember to offer a hug, a tea, a flirty text, a plan to watch a film together or a little trip away.

Can you find out what little things would really mean a lot to your person/s and begin to do that for them?

And then feel the love open up.

Little words and gestures mean so much and build in so many ways.

And of course, ask your dear friends who have created loving connections how they did it.

We all have genius tips to share!

Love Cate xx

Do not underestimate the power of intention! Whet Do not underestimate the power of intention!

Whether you are currently in a relationship or not, I invite you to feel into what you want and what you want to create.

I recommend writing this down and putting this in a special box or envelope. Be really specific about what you would like to create — words are very powerful and it can be amazing to really name this.

For example “I am in a loving, balanced partnership and we have so much fun and joy together. We love travelling, planning our visions and looking after dogs. We are abundant and happy and we live in a sense of spaciousness and connection. We are abundant and we both feel safe and secure.“

You choose the words that work for you and see what that feels like to affirm them.

How do you keep the spark alive during a long-term How do you keep the spark alive during a long-term relationship? Why is a weekly naked hug important?

Often when people first meet they have what we call Eros energy running through them. This is because of the pheromones of attraction to another and hormones such as phenethylamine, oxytocin and dopamine that make us want to stay up all night and make love.

Once the Eros energy period is over (which can be after 6 meetings or up to 2 years) then often s*x dies down in some relationships.

Essentially it is always a good idea to make sure you are getting enough sleep and exercise and that you put your self care first.

In order to create a secure relationship, it’s essential to communicate and listen to your partner about both your needs. You do not have to give up on your intimate connection.

Couples who make their relationships work do not necessarily have lots of s*x or really “hot” s*x. What’s really important is to make time to hug in bed skin-on-skin once a week. This is without the pressure or expectation to have s*x — although you never know what might happen.

What this naked hug does is build the intimate friendship and communicate the importance of the other. While you hug, you build oxytocin and the feeling of loving kindness towards each other. Chats might happen and warmth may happen. As you do this you create a golden space of togetherness which can keep building.

So, let’s invite more naked hugs for 2023! 🤗

Dear lovely people, How are you in your life? H Dear lovely people,

How are you in your life?

How are you feeling?

How much fun are you allowing yourself?

Can you plan any in for this year, this moment, today?

Are you allowed desires and needs and can you begin to make a list of things that you would like?

This is an ongoing journey of learning how to ‘be’ a person rather than ‘do’ a person…

You are a beloved child of the universe and as that beloved being…

Are you allowed to go out for dinner, buy new knickers, book a theatre ticket or an adventure?

What would give you self-worth and self-love and can you give yourself more permission for 2023?

And my top tip: can you be gentle with yourself, whatever it is you do or don’t do, can you take a moment, slow down, breathe, maybe write in a notebook and realise that you have this moment…

Congratulations for getting here.

Sending you big love

Cate 💖✨
